Course Description

Hike to stunning waterfalls. Explore breathtaking landscapes. Catch a glimpse – and photo – of the majestic moose. Disconnect from devices and take the time to connect with family, friends and nature. Come join us and truly experience an insider's tour of "forever wild" Baxter State Park, the home of Katahdin, Maine's highest peak. This guided multiday trip is quick, inspiring and all inclusive – all you need to do is have the time of your life in the great outdoors.

Designed to offer the best authentic outdoor Maine experience, this adventure features two days of beautiful, casual day hikes, with plenty of downtime for unique experiences. Explore more by canoe, enjoy a swim in a nearby lake or simply relax at the campsite and savor the remote wilderness setting. Additionally, a Baxter State Park naturalist will join us for part of the trip to share more of the park's history.

After each exhilarating day outdoors, we'll return to our campsite to enjoy meals prepared by your guides, a relaxing campfire and then settle into comfortable tents under the stars.

Generously gifted to Maine by outdoorsman and former Maine Governor Percival P. Baxter, Baxter State Park is a premier year-round destination for hikers, families, backpackers and naturalists. With limited park visitors, the park is able to protect its special beauty through the decades. We look forward to sharing this very special place with you.

*Synthetic clothing dries quickly and is the best choice for outdoor pursuits. Please do not wear cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. We also recommend you dress in multiple layers, allowing your more flexibility to comfortably respond to the weather conditions and your level of exertion.
