Course Description

Come join our Registered Maine Guides for an incredible and memorable Maine experience that's been designed for women only.

We'll spend our days paddling around the beautiful islands and inlets of Muscongus Bay, a kayaker's paradise. In addition to island touring, we'll watch working lobster boats; keep an eye out for seals, eagles, osprey and other wildlife; and enjoy a picnic lunch on a favorite island beach.

After an exciting day of paddling, we'll return to our island base camp, our home for two nights. There, the guides will do all the cooking, including serving a fresh lobster dinner. Afterwards, we'll settle in around the campfire where the guides will share stories of the bay as well as entertaining stories of their own travels. When it's time to turn in, you'll spend a peaceful night in a comfortable tent.

All necessary kayaking and camping equipment is included. This tour is conducted in tandem sea kayaks. We will match tandem partners upon arrival, if needed. If you prefer to paddle a solo sea kayak, please call us at 1-888-615-9979.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

*Synthetic clothing dries quickly and is the best choice for outdoor pursuits. Please do not wear cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. We also recommend you dress in multiple layers, allowing you more flexibility to comfortably respond to the weather conditions and your level of exertion. †Please call ahead if you plan to use your own equipment as it must pass inspection by L.L.Bean staff before use. If it's deemed unsuitable, we will provide you with the necessary equipment.
