Follow our expert guides as they lead you through the stunning snow-covered forests of Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine, just a short trip from our Freeport campus. Along the way, you’ll learn the basics of snowshoeing as well as some helpful insider tips that will benefit beginners and seasoned snowshoers alike, including how to travel over uneven and varied terrain and the best ways to layer for winter activities. After some time on the trail, we’ll break at a cabin to warm up and fill up on farm-fresh Pineland cheese, salami and crackers, before heading out for another round of winter fun.

L.L.Bean does not usually cancel events due to inclement weather. However, we reserve the right to cancel an event at any item due to severe weather, low enrollment or other concerns. If L.L.Bean cancels your event, you will receive a full refund for the cost of your reservation.
*Synthetic clothing dries quickly and is the best choice for outdoor pursuits. Please do not wear cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. We also recommend you dress in multiple layers, allowing you more flexibility to comfortably respond to the weather conditions and your level of exertion.
**Please call ahead if you plan to use your own equipment as it must pass inspection by L.L.Bean staff before use. If it’s deemed unsuitable, we will provide you with the necessary equipment.
