Course Description

Having your own dedicated coach is the best way to learn a new sport. Join us for a private snowshoeing lesson tailored to your needs. In a one-on-one environment, our expert instructors will perform a complete overview of your skills, helping identify challenges and providing technique refinements that will have you making fresh tracks through the snow in no time. They'll build upon your present skill set, adding advanced techniques for navigating deep snow and hilly terrain. They'll teach you simple tips on balance and effective poling, plus answer any questions you have about this exciting sport.

All necessary snowshoeing equipment is provided. If you'd like to add more participants, spend more time with an instructor or build your own custom adventure, please call 1-888-270-2326.

L.L.Bean does not usually cancel events due to inclement weather. However, we reserve the right to cancel an event at any time due to severe weather, low enrollment or other concerns. If L.L.Bean cancels your event, you will receive a full refund for the cost of your reservation.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

*Synthetic clothing dries quickly and is the best choice for outdoor pursuits. Please do not wear cotton clothing. When wet, cotton rapidly robs the heat from your body and takes a long time to dry. We also recommend you dress in multiple layers, allowing you more flexibility to comfortably respond to the weather conditions and your level of exertion

†Please call ahead if you plan to use your own equipment as it must pass inspection by L.L.Bean staff before use. If it's deemed unsuitable, we will provide you with the necessary equipment.
