I have not laughed that hard in a long time. Thanks for sharing your story about the raccoons. Fellow campers can tell the best stories and provide good advise from their own experiences. While camping in the Smokies we had to hang our food in the air or drop in over the bridge were cables were provided. Bears were so smart parallel boards had to be nailed to the bridge decking to drop the cable in-between. Apparently bears can not lift and slide cables.

I used this camping in my minimalistic Sprinter 2500 144 wheel base. Works great tethered to galley wall!

Whenever food is left out at a campsite it will draw animals - this is obviously meant to store and organize tools/equipment.

There are excellent books about successful tent camping - a Boy Scout Handbook would help you learn how to set up your outdoor kitchen to avoid sending out invites for wild animals to come calling.

This product is for equipment storage and not food. Never ever leave food out at night.
