The knife is wonderful. Great for camp use, deer skinning, boning game. I love the way it sharpens and holds and edge. The sheath is the problem. I bought this knife and the first time I wore it the sheath separated from the belt loop. I called LL Bean. Customer service was great. They replaced the knife sheath and gave me a mailer to send it back. I tore the new one the first week deer hunting. I did not call. I actually lost it in the woods and back tracked where I was sitting at the base of a tree. I now carry the knife in my pack. I would recommend to LL Bean that they redesign the sheath to have a sewn belt holder. The customer service lady says she gets a lot of complaints on the belt loop. I had no problem always love customer service. If you buy this knife carry it in a pack or sew the belt loop, don't trust the small rivet.
