A flannel sleeping bag liner is a brilliant idea! I would definitely buy that

After spending a good bit of time looking at other similar bags, I am thinking that longer piece in the front of the fleece bag is designed as a temperature control - that is, if it's cold, you pull it in so that it is like a neck warmer; if it gets warmer, you pull it out over the top of the outer blanket. I think that is a good idea. In general, the more that I look at similar bags, the more that I like this bag and the better value it seems. It is much too long for me to be optimal though (more designed for beefy men 6 foot or more), but that could be a minor point. It it were down, I'd definitely keep it. As it is, I'm still not sure. Definitely this is worth considering for non-backpacking uses for larger people who are price conscious and don't mind synthetic though.
