    LLBeaner1000, do you have narrow heels? Have you had this problem with other shoes? I do have a narrow heel and can sometimes adapt a pair of shoes or boots by placing an adhesive felt tongue pad inside, at the instep. It forces the foot backward a bit, seating the heel more securely within the shoe/boot. Sometimes, I've also used adhesive heel grips to take up space around my heels.
