I'm just curious, you said you exchanged the thinsulate for the wool for warmth, but the site has the thinsulate with a colder temp rating than the wool one? In your experience, the wool version was warmer than the colder rated thinsulate one? Just curious.

It is safe to spray or rub your jacket down with vegetable oil cooking spray. This usually darkens leather 2-3 shades and has the added benefit of keeping the leather supple. Just remember, a little goes a long way. So don't spray it to the point of dripping or you'll have a greasy, runny jacket for a while. Hope this helps.
