When we join forces outdoors with partners like The Trust for Public Land, National Park Foundation, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the sky’s the limit. In fact, we’ve committed over $16 million in the past decade to protect the outdoors and make it more accessible to everyone.

Outdoor Access for All

Through the L.L.Bean Outdoor Access Fund, we contribute nearly $3 million annually to organizations around the U.S. that increase access to the outdoors and promote environmental stewardship. Check out our latest efforts to help communities have shared, transformative experiences in the outdoors.

Commitment to Maine Communities

The L.L.Bean Community Fund was created to support a wide variety of health and wellness organizations, social and civic efforts and educational and arts programs with the goal of improving both the physical and mental well-being of Maine people. In 2018, L.L.Bean pledged more than $1.2 million to health, human services and educations and arts organizations in Maine.

“By encouraging a healthy outdoor lifestyle, working to preserve our precious natural resources, and focusing on the various needs in our communities, the groups we support embody many of the values and traditions of L.L.Bean—integrity, service, respect, healthy living and a passion for the outdoors.”
