Once you find your favorite style, all that’s left is to nail down the perfect fit. The general rule of thumb is: buy one size down in unlined boots and your usual size for lined boots. Another factor to consider are your socks. If you plan to wear your Bean Boots with light or midweight socks, order one size down for whole sizes and 1 ½ sizes down for half sizes. If you plan to wear your boots with heavyweight socks – for colder, longer days exploring the outdoors – we recommend ordering your normal size for whole sizes and one size down for half sizes.
