Purchased a Point65 from a place other than Bean as Bean didn't sell the color my wife wanted - yellow.. The mid-section of the kayak was orange. The dealer has been very good. But the US Distributer, thru whom the dealer, whether ours or Bean, must deal with WYNIT, Inc. I our instance, WYNIT will not process our purchase/warranty issue until receiving approval from Point65 in Sweden (The warranty doesn't say that.). And only then open a carton in the Memphis, TN distribution center to see if a good mid-section is available. If available, then the product is sent FedEx Freight. If all goes well, we'd only have to miss using the product for about three weeks...the problem was reported the day we got the defective product and were told not to use it. WYNIT 'must follow procedures'. WYNIT 1st.....customers 2nd. My wife is ready to tell them to pick up the kayak..no problem w/ having Amex suspend the charge. Sad because the kayak seems quite nice...
