    Atlas snowshoes have by far the best bindings of the bunch. Tubbs and other use inferior materials, and don't have near the forgiveness that the Atlas products have. These new bindings are not all that great -- more akin to a telemark ski binding than a functional snowshoe binding. I wouldn't be overly surprised if in the next year or two, the binding style changes.
