  • Why We Love Them

At the heart of Mount Katahdin (Maine’s highest peak), Knife Edge trail looms large with 1,000-foot drop-offs on either side. It's the no-fear attitude and adventurous spirit of the hikers who brave this trail that inspired us to create these versatile hiking boots. The heritage-born design is as aesthetically pleasing as it is functional – but the real beauty is in the details.

    Comfortable and indestructible
I have had these for over a year. They keep my feet warm and dry over long distances. Easy to get on and off. I have not done any technical hiking in these... more

The boots look great and they feel cushy when standing. They do run big so getting a half size smaller worked well. But I'm having the same problem that... more

I couldn't agree more. I loved everything about this boot (light for being so rugged, stylish, waterproof, warm and super-comfy when not walking) EXCEPT the crease over the toes that dug into my foot with every step. If you're standing still, they're great. Walking, not so much. What a shame! I exchanged them for the Keen Targhi II mid-height, which have all the same properties as the Knife Edge, but are lighter and cradle my foot with every step. Saved about $40, too.
