The main thing I have against this pack is that it is not adjustable in the torso length. It is sized too long for me. Also, the waist belt is too long for me--the ends dangle and get in the way. I only weigh about 104 #. I am only 4' 11" and the bottom of the pack hits the rocks when going down rock scrambles and steep sections going down mountains. This causes my 2 L water bottles to fall out and roll down the ledges in the steepest sections. It has some really nice features, wide waist belt, comfortable, hydration sleeve, floating top, great stretchy easy access compartment on the back and huge stretchy side pockets. The clips for the floating top and the stretchy back compartment are too small, especially when you have cold fingers. The pack is light weight, but has no DWR finish at all. It gets soaking wet and needs a rain cover, which is probably one of the reasons it is light weight. The floating top doesn't sit on the top, as shown in the photo, it falls down exposing the top of the pack in the rain. This can be ameliorated by using the extra flap of material to cover the main pack opening. I think the straps closest to the wearer's back are placed in the wrong place --too high up from the wearer's back and not long enough, and that's why it keeps falling down. The floating top itself has an inside zippered mesh pocket, so you can see what's in there and a very accessible outside zippered pocket for the things you need quick access to. It would be nice if there was a clip in the inner pocket for your car keys. The main body of the pack has two draw strings at the top--I can't figure out why, it's just in the way. The main compartment is huge and I can't see anyone not having enough room for their gear.
