^^^READERS BEWARE!^^^ While I, as much as the next individual appreciate perusing reviews prior to making online purchases, it is too bad that reviews like the one above, are calculated into a product's overall star rating. The review above does not actually address any comfort, usage or functionality of the mat itself. I own two of these mats which more than comfortably sleep my family of four... and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!! By far, the most comfortable solution for ground, tent or leanto camping we've ever used. The dimensions for the mat (rolled up and/or inflated) are something that a buyer should be generally aware of before deciding to acquire. one The mats when inflated are quite large (4.5' x 6.5'), which is actually a great feature of them. To think that they should fit inside Harry Potter's shoe box, is unreasonable. As far as deflating goes; you open the valve and roll it up, knowing that the purpose of this first roll is just to get the majority of air out. Then you close the valve to "lock" your deflating progress. Unroll it and repeat the roll-up process to push remaining air towards the valve, making the mat as compact as you can. I am a small female and by myself, I do not struggle whatsoever to roll these up and easily slide them back into their storage bags. ANOTHER GREAT PRODUCT FROM L.L. BEAN!!!

    Comfy
Needed more padding for bed in camper trailer. This fits well and keeps my hips from aching in the morning.

I've been looking everywhere for a suitable mattress for my tiny house loft, and this looks like it fits the bill! I'd be interested in seeing how it holds up long term. I've used a couple other things, such as a thin Thermarest and a mattress topper, and over time the materials start to compress where you sleep...
